IFE - Foodies delight!
Having been to quite a few food exhibitions, the novelty wears off after a while... but this year IFE ExCel..led themselves..!
One of the best products I tried was !Cho!
Cho! is a range of premium gazpacho drinks, made exclusively in Andalucia, Spain to exciting recipes by award winning chef Alejandro Sanchez.
Personally I preferred the original recipe Clasico Tomato & Peppers..chilled and delicious with an almost creamy mouthfeel very reminiscent of festivals and sunshine. In Spain Almond gazpacho is called Ajoblanco... this is a superfood snack blended with raspberries. Beetroot & Apple is packed with earthy beetroot and crisp apples give a fresh zingy flavour...I'm told chilled with ice, and a slice of cucumber over each eye is an ultimate relaxing drink! Finally Tomato & Strawberry... a close runner up..but a winner for the non traditionalists - sunshine in a bottle.
The artisian nature and the enthusiasm was so obvious - I was told that 6 Andalucian ladies were the production workforce! Try these if you can... I see a great future.
